Marvel Rivals' Low FPS Damage Bug: A Fix on the Horizon

Some Marvel Rivals heroes, including Dr. Strange and Wolverine, are experiencing significantly reduced damage output at lower FPS settings (e.g., 30 FPS). This issue, impacting damage calculations, is currently under active investigation and development by the game's team.

The problem, confirmed by a community manager, affects several heroes and their abilities. While the exact extent of the bug is still being determined, reports indicate that attacks from characters like Dr. Strange, Magik, Star-Lord, Venom, and Wolverine are noticeably weaker at lower frame rates, particularly against stationary targets. Wolverine's Feral Leap and Savage Claw abilities are specifically mentioned as being affected.

The root cause appears to be linked to the game's client-side prediction mechanism, a common programming technique that can inadvertently create these kinds of discrepancies at lower frame rates.
