Talk to Professor Lodochka at Wild Island

Proceed to the Wild Island mission marker, locating Professor Lodochka at Quite's Camp. A higher-priority objective emerges: eliminating mercenaries in the area. These enemies are clearly marked, eliminating the need for extensive searching.

Strong weaponry is advisable, as further encounters await. Neutralize all enemies to access Lodochka and trigger an optional objective: activating the ventilation system.

Activate the Ventilation System

Consult your map for a marked fuse location. After retrieving it, another marker appears north, indicating the engineering rooms. An invisible enemy patrols this area; prepare accordingly.

Enter the shelter, navigate the passageways to the engine room, and use the fuse to restore power to the ventilation system. This optional objective, while not offering unique rewards, simplifies subsequent mission stages.

Find the Signal Source

Consider acquiring superior weaponry before proceeding. At the marked location, a cave entrance near the water is found. Navigate westward through the caverns, descending and overcoming obstacles. A broken pipe provides access to higher cave levels.

Locate the large cone-shaped spire; the emitter is at the marked point beside it. An invisible enemy threatens the exit. Return to Lodochka to complete the mission, unlocking "Hornet's Nest" as the next main objective.
