The PS Portal resembles an extended DualSense controller with an integrated 8-inch 1080p LCD screen. It streams PS5 games at up to 60fps, mirroring DualSense features like haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. While previously requiring a PS5, it now also supports streaming directly from PlayStation Plus Premium, offering access to a library of over 120 games without a console. A PlayStation Plus Premium subscription is required for this feature.
It's important to note that the PS Portal isn't the only way to stream PS5 games. The PS Remote Play app offers similar functionality, though setup is more complex and some DualSense features may be lost.

"The PlayStation Portal surprised me. It's far superior to using a phone with a clip-on controller and works better than expected. I appreciate the freedom to play my PS5 anywhere with decent Wi-Fi. The biggest drawbacks are the lack of browser-based Wi-Fi login and Bluetooth audio support. Despite these issues, it's currently the best solution for PlayStation Remote Play."
