She emphasized Netflix's unique position, stating, "Either they have great technology, or they have great entertainment. Our superpower has always been the fact that we have both." Reinhard highlighted that Netflix's ad-supported tier subscribers engage with the platform for an average of 41 hours per month, translating to about three hours of ads per month, a significant amount even without AI integration.
Reinhard also noted that viewer attention on Netflix's ad-supported tier remains high, comparable to the attention paid to the shows and movies themselves. This high engagement is a key factor in Netflix's confidence in integrating AI-generated ads.
