This week, the developers of InZOI are taking a well-deserved break to celebrate the New Year, enjoying a three-day holiday in South Korea. Before stepping away, Hyungjun "Kjun" Kim, the project lead, took the time to share valuable insights into the highly anticipated features that fans have been eagerly requesting for the game. He provided a clear picture of which of these features will be implemented and to what extent, giving the community a sneak peek into the future of InZOI.

In InZOI, players will have the exciting opportunity to utilize real facial capture technology to create templates for crafting their zois. This feature, already highlighted as highly convenient in summer announcements, is set to become even more user-friendly. Kjun emphasized the team's goal to simplify the process of creating zois, making it more accessible for all players. Additionally, while not available during early access, players will eventually be able to have their own pets in the game. This addition is particularly exciting for Kjun, who is known to be a big animal lover.

The game will also feature tall buildings, with a cap set at 30 floors. Although the game engine theoretically supports higher constructions, this limitation is in place to address potential performance issues, ensuring a smooth gameplay experience. InZOI will not only be about building and crafting but will also include dynamic elements such as gas stations and fights. Responding to player feedback about the earlier slap mechanic feeling too shallow, Kjun and his team have decided to enhance this aspect. The game will now feature full-fledged fights, complete with winners and losers, adding a new layer of excitement and engagement.

Recognizing that many newcomers unfamiliar with the genre will be trying InZOI, the developers have thoughtfully included a tutorial to help ease players into the game's world. This level of consideration is certainly commendable and shows the team's commitment to creating an inclusive gaming experience.

As of now, Krafton is steadfast in its plan to release InZOI in early access at the end of March, with no further delays currently expected.
