Dead Cells Mobile's final free content updates delayed, but with a confirmed release date!

The much-anticipated final two free updates for Dead Cells on mobile, "Clean Cut" and "The End is Near," have been pushed back. However, developer Playdigious has announced a firm release date of February 18th, 2025, for both updates on Android and iOS.

These updates, already available on console and PC, introduce a wealth of new content. "Clean Cut" brings two new weapons: the tactical Sewing Scissors and the powerful Giant Comb. Players will also meet the Tailor's Daughter, a new NPC allowing customization of character appearances.

"The End is Near" lives up to its name with the addition of challenging new enemies: the Sore Loser, Curser, and Doom Bringer. Exciting new skills and colorless mutations, such as the damage-boosting Demonic Strength, are also included.

A fitting finale to free updates

Playdigious has consistently provided generous free content for Dead Cells. While the announcement of the end of these free updates initially drew criticism, the substantial additions in "Clean Cut" and "The End is Near" justify the developer's decision to move on to new projects.
