What Happens After You Beat Avowed?
In *Avowed*, Obsidian Entertainment has crafted a vibrant world known as the Living Lands, yet the main quest might leave you wanting more due to its relatively short duration. If you're eager to dive deeper into the game after the credits roll, here's what you can expect post-completion.
Does Avowed Have New Game Plus?
For avid RPG players and completionists, the allure of replaying the main quest on a higher difficulty with accumulated skills and gear is undeniable. Unfortunately, *Avowed* does not feature a New Game Plus mode at launch. However, there's hope on the horizon. Given the community's feedback and demand, Obsidian might introduce New Game Plus in a future update or DLC.
Even without New Game Plus, *Avowed* offers compelling reasons to start anew. The game's rich narrative and multiple choice-driven paths mean that creating a fresh save can unlock different endings and allow you to experiment with varied character builds, enhancing your overall experience.
Does Avowed Have Endgame Content?

However, once you've conquered these final areas, you won't find new regions to explore or changes in the existing ones based on your choices. This lack of dynamic post-game exploration can be somewhat disappointing, as it means you can't see how your decisions have shaped the Living Lands.
What You Can Do After You Beat Avowed
Without New Game Plus and significant endgame content, *Avowed*'s post-game offerings might feel a bit underwhelming. After defeating the final enemy, you'll be treated to several minutes of animatic cutscenes that illustrate the consequences of your choices on the world and its inhabitants. Once these scenes conclude, you'll be returned to the Main Menu.
From the Main Menu, you have two primary options: start a new journey as a different Envoy or reload a previous save. Autosaves are available from just before the point of no return and before the final encounter, allowing you to replay these sections with different choices to experience varied story outcomes.
Reloading a save before the point of no return also lets you revisit earlier regions. You can explore these areas, complete any missed side quests, collect achievements, and gather collectibles. With your upgraded gear, revisiting early regions like Dawnshore can be particularly enjoyable, as you'll face off against enemies with your powerful Legendary Quality weapons.
And that's the full scope of what happens after you beat *Avowed*. The game is currently available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Game Pass, offering players a rich, if somewhat brief, adventure in the Living Lands.
