2024年11月26日，光荣特库摩欧洲分公司通过Twitter(X)宣布，即将推出的衍生游戏《莱斯勒莉亚工房：赤炼金术士与白守护者》将不会采用抽卡系统，这与它的手机前作《莱斯勒莉亚工房：被遗忘的炼金术与极夜解放者》大相径庭。
光荣特库摩的重要声明指出，新的《莱斯勒莉亚工房》游戏将不会包含抽卡系统。大多数抽卡游戏中，玩家不可避免地会遇到必须刷取或购买道具才能继续游戏的瓶颈。而这款新作中，玩家无需购买宝石即可解锁角色或强大的道具。
除了取消抽卡系统外，公告还提到游戏“可以离线游玩”，无需玩过其手机前作。游戏官网也提到，“兰塔纳等待着新的主角和原创故事”，表明游戏共享同一个世界观，但不一定沿用前作的角色和故事背景。
《莱斯勒莉亚工房：赤炼金术士与白守护者》将于2025年登陆PS5、PS4、Switch和Steam平台。目前光荣特库摩尚未公布价格、具体发售日期和时间。
