Pesten With Cards, also known as Bullying With Cards, is a traditional Dutch card game enjoyed by many.

Pesten With Cards is a beloved Dutch classic, literally translating to Bullying With Cards. Similar variants include Mau-Mau, Crazy Eights, Shedding, Puque, Чешский Дурак, Фараон, Крокодил, Tschau Sepp, and Uno. The objective is simple: be the first to discard all your cards. To win, a player must announce "Last Card" before playing their final card. Failure to do so results in a penalty—drawing two additional cards.

The game can use multiple decks, including jokers. Each player starts with seven cards, while the remaining deck forms the stock. The top card is revealed to begin play. If the first card is a "Pest-card," its effect applies immediately as if dealt by the dealer.

On your turn, slide a matching number or suit card onto the pile. Jokers and Jacks are exceptions, playable on any card. If you can't play, draw from the stock. If the drawn card is playable, you may choose to use it or keep it.

-Last card

When down to one card, you must declare "Last Card" by clicking the button. Forgetting could cost you—two penalty cards and your win denied. False declarations also incur penalties. The button can be clicked anytime, ensuring timely announcements.

Winning requires playing your last card, but not if it's a special card (detailed below).

-Special Cards

Certain cards trigger actions when played. Dutch households vary in rules, so customize these in game settings to match your preferences. Available actions include:

- Joker

The next player draws five cards. Another played joker increases the penalty by five per joker. Drawn cards cannot be played—the next player takes their turn.

- Two

The next player draws two cards. Additional twos add two cards each. Optionally, a joker can escalate the penalty to five. Twos can't override jokers. Drawn cards skip your play.

- Seven

Play another card immediately. If it's your last, don't forget to announce it. Otherwise, draw from the stock.

- Eight

The next player is skipped, letting the following player go. In two-player games, this resembles a Seven.
