What are Luma Eggs?

Luma Eggs, initially appearing as Mysterious Eggs, are collectible items in Luma Island. Incubating these eggs yields Luma creatures, valuable assistants on your farm and adventures. The type of Luma hatched is random, adding an element of surprise to your collection.

Locating Luma Eggs

Luma Eggs are found primarily in two locations: the island's Ruins and behind Shrine doors. Each Ruin and Shrine typically holds a single egg. The number of eggs available increases as you unlock new areas:

Ruin eggs are located deep within each Ruin's chambers. Shrine doors require Tepid Offering Crystals, found in challenging-to-reach spots within each area. Unlocking the door reveals the egg within a reward chest.

Hatching Luma Eggs

To hatch your Mysterious Eggs, you'll need a Luma Incubator. Purchase the blueprint from Balthazar's shop for 500 coins. Crafting the incubator requires:

Once built, the Luma Incubator allows you to combine Luma Life (crafted using various island essences) with a Mysterious Egg to initiate hatching. Unhatched Luma appear as "Mysterious Creature" silhouettes. After a short wait, your new Luma friend will emerge.
