HoYoverse has just unveiled the exciting details for Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6, titled 'Among the Forgotten Ruins,' set to launch on March 12th. This update promises a thrilling dive into the chaotic world of New Eridu, packed with new story developments and character introductions.

What’s Happening in Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6?

In this update, Proxies find themselves embroiled in a high-stakes auction orchestrated by the Mayor, who tasks them with securing a mysterious artefact connected to the Sacrifice. However, the phantom thief syndicate, Mockingbird, is set on disrupting the Mayor's plans. Other factions are also in the mix, all vying for the artefact, which adds an extra layer of tension to the quest.

Adding to the intrigue, characters Hugo and Vivian are displaying suspicious behavior, leaving players to ponder their true intentions. Are they allies or adversaries? To get a sneak peek at what's in store, check out the trailer below.

Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6 introduces a new unit, Anby Demara. Once known as Soldier 0 and leader of the Silver Squad, Anby steps into the spotlight as an S-Rank Electric Attack Agent, wielding dual swords to deliver powerful Electric damage.

Joining her is Trigger, an ace sniper from the Obol Squad, who comes in as an S-Rank Electric Stun Agent. Trigger's ability to enter Sniper Mode allows her to dodge attacks and take precise shots, setting up her teammates for effective Quick Assists.

Some Are Making a Comeback

Version 1.6 also sees the return of several characters. Pulchra Fellini, an A-Rank Physical Stun Agent from the Sons of Calydon, makes a comeback, along with S-Rank Fire Anomaly Agent Burnice and S-Rank Ether Attack Agent Zhuyuan, who are featured in rerun banners. Additionally, Geppetto enters the fray as the latest boss in Hollow Zero.

The update introduces new challenges with Difficulty VI in Battlefront Purge, pushing players to test their skills. A new gameplay mode, Shadow Operation, in Hollow Zero, enhances battles with special effects such as increased damage based on accumulated coins.

Trigger’s TV Schedule introduces a third-person sniper gameplay experience, allowing players to engage in authentic sniper missions. March On, Tiny Titan! offers unique challenges where you control a Bangboo drone, while Little Knight’s Big Charge lets you guide a Bangboo through ten trials, rewarding players with Pulchra as a playable agent among other prizes.
