Xiaomi has unveiled its innovative WinPlay Engine, enabling local Windows game play on Android tablets with minimal performance impact. Currently in beta, it's exclusive to the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro.

This impressive technology utilizes a three-layer virtualization system built upon Xiaomi's HyperCore kernel, allowing the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 powered Pad 6S Pro to run Windows games.

Key Features and Performance:

Xiaomi boasts a mere 2.9% GPU performance loss – a small price to pay for enjoying PC titles on a tablet. The engine supports Steam, potentially granting direct access to your existing game library (though full compatibility details remain pending).

Bluetooth peripheral support is included, encompassing keyboards, mice, and even vibration-feedback enabled Xbox controllers. Local multiplayer for up to four players is also supported.

Setup and Limitations:
