Xbox Game Pass January 2025 Lineup: New Games and Departures

Microsoft has unveiled its first Xbox Game Pass lineup for 2025, confirming several anticipated titles and announcing some departures. The month of January brings a wave of new games across various genres, but also sees several titles exiting the service.

New Arrivals:

Microsoft's January 7th announcement on the official Xbox blog detailed seven new additions to the Game Pass catalog. Leading the charge is Road 96, available immediately across all tiers (including PC Game Pass), marking its return after a previous stint on the service. Six more titles join the roster later in the month:

• Road 96: Available January 7th (All tiers)
• Lightyear Frontier (Preview): Available January 8th (Standard & above)
• My Time at Sandrock: Available January 8th (Standard & above)
• Robin Hood – Sherwood Builders: Available January 8th (Standard & above)
• Rolling Hills: Available January 8th (Standard & above)
• UFC 5: Available January 14th (Ultimate only)
• Diablo: Available January 14th (Ultimate & PC Game Pass)

The inclusion of Diablo and UFC 5 confirms earlier leaks, though access is limited to Ultimate and/or PC Game Pass subscribers. Lightyear Frontier, currently in early access, is available to Standard subscribers.

Alongside the new games, several Game Pass Ultimate perks launched on January 7th, including weapon charms for Apex Legends and DLC for First Descendant, Vigor, and Metaball.

Departures:

Six games are leaving Xbox Game Pass on January 15th:

• Escape Academy
• Exoprimal
• Figment
• Insurgency Sandstorm
• Those Who Remain
