While optional, completing this quest is highly recommended, especially considering a Nightmare Echo is trapped within Fagaceae Peninsula's stormy ruins. Prepare for a substantial undertaking; equip your strongest Resonators and prepare for an extended adventure.

Where Wind Returns to Celestial Realms Walkthrough

This exploration quest is combat-heavy. Begin at the ruined base south of Shores of Last Breath, activating the broken Lumiscale Construct. The quest objectives are:

1. Energize three steles at designated locations.
2. Return and defeat the Lumiscale Construct.
3. Pursue the Lumiscale Construct.
4. Defeat the Lumiscale Construct (again).
5. Defeat the Dragon of Dirge.

Energizing the Steles

Stand on the central glowing circle of each altar to charge the Discipline Steles. Enemies interrupting this process will hinder progress; eliminate them swiftly. Moving too far from the altar will cause energy depletion. Utilize the 2.0 update's enhanced elemental damage and status effects to your advantage. For the third stele set, strategically position yourself to activate them before enemy spawns.

Chasing and Defeating the Lumiscale Construct

Use your team's most powerful Resonators to attack the Construct. A cutscene will initiate upon significantly lowering its health, prompting you to follow it deeper into the ruins. The environment becomes more hazardous during the chase; navigate falling debris and lightning while eliminating enemies. A final confrontation with the Construct awaits.

The Dragon of Dirge

This formidable foe can easily stunlock or even one-shot characters. Evade its breath and falling star attacks, aiming for stuns as soon as possible. Prioritize dodging powerful attacks and capitalizing on stun opportunities.

Victory over the dragon completes the quest, unlocking access to Shores of Last Breath, including Dream Patrols and Nightmare Tempest Mephis in the northern arena.
