Wuthering Waves Unveils Phoebe and Brant as Upcoming 5-Star Rinascita Characters

Version 2.1 of Wuthering Waves will introduce Phoebe and Brant as the next 5-star Rinascita characters. While their weapon types and elements remain unconfirmed, lore suggests Phoebe may be a Spectro unit and Brant a sword wielder. Their arrival follows the recent 2.0 update, which featured Carlotta (a Glacio DPS) and Roccia (a Havoc unit). Zani is also anticipated to join the roster in future updates.

The announcement, made via the official Wuthering Waves Twitter account, generated significant excitement among players. The phased release suggests Phoebe will debut in Version 2.1 Phase 1, with Brant following in Phase 2. Both characters, having already appeared in the game's storyline, are expected to play crucial roles in upcoming narrative developments.

Phoebe's character profile hints at a devout Acolyte of the Order of the Deep within Rinascita, balancing serene devotion with a cheerful disposition. Brant, conversely, is portrayed as the charismatic captain of the Fool's Troupe, a traveling Carnevale show, concealing a protective nature beneath his easygoing exterior.

Wuthering Waves Version 2.0, ending around mid-February, also included a premium skin for Jinhsi and a free Sanhua skin obtainable via an upcoming event (starting January 23rd). Further additions to the 2.0 cycle are rumored, but official confirmation is pending. The addition of Phoebe and Brant significantly expands the playable Rinascita roster, leaving only Zani's debut awaited.
