Wuthering Waves has officially kicked off its highly anticipated Version 2.3 update, titled Fiery Arpeggio of Summer. This expansive update arrives in four distinct phases, aligning perfectly with the game's first anniversary celebrations and its debut on PC via Steam. For fans eager to explore new content, the update begins rolling out on April 29th, 2025, and concludes on June 12th, 2025.

Fresh Storylines and Event Content

The update introduces captivating new storylines such as A Blaze in the Dark and Your Summer Will Never Wither, providing players with immersive narratives to dive into. Additionally, a fresh wave of Phantom Echoes debuts, featuring notable additions like Crownless (Nightmare Version), Nimbus Wraith, and the elusive Chest Mimic.

For those with a Union Level of 8 or higher, the Gifts of Grand Celebration login event offers a range of rewards, including Radiant Tides and Moment of Resonance, running from May 23rd to June 11th.

Login Events and Rewards

Two more login events accompany the update: Gifts of Grand Reunion (April 29th to June 11th) and Gifts of Melodic Verses (June 5th to June 19th). These events grant players access to valuable resources such as Radiant Tide, Lustrous Tide, Astrite, Modifiers, and essential upgrade materials.

New and Returning Minigames

The ever-popular Cubie Derby makes a triumphant return, offering both a casual warm-up activity and a competitive spectator event where players can root for their favorite Cubes. By rolling dice and navigating the board, participants collect rewards like Phantom: Chest Mimic and Flight Aspect: Laureate.

During the first phase, players can acquire Resonators such as Lumi, Taoqi, and Yuanwu, alongside powerful weapons like Dauntless Evernight, Overture, and Hollow Mirage. This phase remains active until June 11th.
