Undermine, a vast subterranean Goblin metropolis, prohibits flying. Instead, players navigate using the customizable D.R.I.V.E. vehicle, offering a thrilling alternative to Skyriding's speed. Breakneck races fully leverage the D.R.I.V.E. system's potential for high-speed city navigation.

Complementing the D.R.I.V.E. races are the innovative Skyrocket races. These utilize Goblin jetpacks for aerial maneuvering, creating a unique blend of existing flight mechanics. Unlike Steady flight, players cannot stop mid-air; however, unlike Skyriding, they maintain momentum and altitude. Speed increases with each collected ring, but handling becomes less responsive, adding a layer of strategic challenge.

Skyrocket and Breakneck Races in Patch 11.1:

The absence of Skyriding in Undermine eliminates traditional Skyriding races. Both Breakneck and Skyrocket races offer Bronze, Silver, and Gold time achievements. Reverse versions of all races exist, although advanced or challenge courses are absent.

Player reception to Skyrocket races is varied. While some anticipate them eagerly, others express concerns about the perceived stiffness and lack of responsiveness compared to Skyriding. With Patch 11.1 still under development (anticipated February release), further refinements are possible.
