WoW Housing: new details shared by Blizzard
World of Warcraft's highly anticipated housing system is slated for a 2025 release, with Blizzard unveiling initial details. The developers assure players that homes will be accessible to everyone, regardless of subscription status, and without complicated acquisition processes like lotteries or exorbitant costs. This feature is set to debut with the Midnight expansion.
Initially, players can select a plot in one of two distinct zones: an Alliance zone (Elwynn Forest, incorporating elements from Westfall and Duskwood) or a Horde zone (Durotar, featuring aspects of Azshara and the Durotar coastline).
Each zone will be segmented into districts, each accommodating approximately 50 homes. Players have the option of residing in open areas or establishing private communities with friends and guild members. Extensive customization options are promised, with the majority obtainable in-game, while some will be available via the in-game shop.
