WoW Debuts Warband Campsite Additions
World of Warcraft Patch 11.1 introduces customizable character selection screen campsites. Four new campsites are initially available, with more planned for future updates.

- Collectible Campsites: Four new backgrounds can be unlocked and used to personalize the character selection screen.
- Unlock Methods Vary: Each campsite has unique unlock requirements, ranging from simple logins to completing challenging meta-achievements.
- Collections Pane Access: Players can preview and manage their campsites within the Collections pane.
- Character Selection Customization: A dedicated tab allows selection of preferred campsites. A random selection option is also available.

The Ohn’ahran Overlook is automatically unlocked upon logging in after Patch 11.1. The remaining campsites require completing specific in-game achievements or progressing through seasonal content. All campsites are accessible and manageable via the Collections pane.
This new customization expands upon the Warbands system, suggesting Blizzard's commitment to ongoing development of character selection screen personalization. Future updates are expected to introduce additional campsites through various avenues, including new content, older zones, holiday events, the Trading Post, and potentially the in-game shop.
