"Witcher 4's Unreal Engine 5 Features Unveiled Tomorrow"
CD Projekt Red, the acclaimed developer behind *The Witcher* series, has confirmed that more details about *The Witcher 4* will be revealed this week. In a recent social media update, the studio announced it will be participating in Epic Games’ State of Unreal event, offering a closer look at the "innovative technology and features" driving the game’s development—and possibly more.
The keynote presentation will begin at 9:30 AM Eastern Time on June 3rd and will be available for live streaming online. Last year’s showcase featured a preview of *Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra*, developed by Amy Hennig’s team, giving fans hope that this year’s segment could deliver our first real glimpse into *The Witcher 4*—potentially including gameplay footage or in-engine visuals. So far, the only public reveal has been a cinematic CGI trailer.

Of particular interest is CD Projekt’s mention of tech that extends “beyond” *The Witcher 4*. Could this hint at other titles currently in development using Unreal Engine 5? Speculation suggests that Cyberpunk 2 may also be showcased, although no official word has been given yet.
*The Witcher 4* marks the beginning of a new chapter in the franchise, with Ciri stepping into the lead role as Geralt's adoptive daughter takes center stage. Recently, Doug Cockle, the voice actor behind Geralt, responded to criticism regarding the shift in protagonist, urging detractors to “read the damn books” before passing judgment.
