Genshin Impact players eagerly awaiting the 5.4 update in a week can currently exploit a surprising tactic to effortlessly defeat even the toughest bosses. Ironically, this exploit centers around the Hydro Traveler, a character often considered one of the game's weakest DPS options.

The exploit's mechanics are surprisingly straightforward. Utilizing the Hydro Traveler's Elemental Burst in conjunction with Xiao Lanterns (obtained during the Lantern Rite Festival) is the key. By strategically placing a significant number of Xiao Lanterns near a boss and then activating the Elemental Burst, the boss's health plummets dramatically.

This occurs because the Elemental Burst's AoE damage is significantly amplified when interacting with multiple objects. With a hundred lanterns, damage output can reach into the millions, making even the most formidable bosses trivial to defeat.

While this exploit is likely to be patched in a future update, it currently presents a unique opportunity to breeze through challenging boss fights with minimal effort.
