Game of Thrones: War for Westeros is the latest real-time strategy game unveiled during tonight’s Summer Game Fest showcase.
Scheduled to launch on PC via Steam in 2026, the game was introduced with a cinematic trailer that highlighted one of the most iconic and dramatic battles from the Game of Thrones saga. As the commanding voice of Tywin Lannister (portrayed by Charles Dance) sets the tone, the trailer presents a chilling scene: the Night King claiming Jon Snow (featuring the likeness of Kit Harrington). Not to worry—he’s been resurrected before, so maybe this twist won’t be the end of him after all.
