Jingle Hells, the holiday-themed map in Black Ops 6 Zombies, introduces unique mechanics for weapon progression and item acquisition. Weapon Upgrades in Jingle Hells
Instead of the Arsenal Machine, you'll rely on Aether Tools. These consumable items upgrade your weapon to their corresponding rarity tier (White, Green, Blue, Purple/Legendary). Here's how to find them:
- Church Spire: Throw a grenade at the zombie head atop the church spire. The resulting zombie drop contains a chance at an Aether Tool; higher rounds yield higher rarity tools.
- Bank Vault: Loot Keys unlock safety deposit boxes within the Bank Vault, which may contain Aether Tools.
- S.A.M. Trials: Completing S.A.M. Trials, especially at higher reward tiers, offers a chance to obtain Aether Tools.
- Hidden Power GobbleGum: Instantly upgrade your weapon to Legendary rarity.
- Mystery Box, Wall Buys, Holiday Presents: Weapons acquired from these sources increase in rarity as the round progresses.
Ammo Mods in Jingle Hells
Currently, only the Cryo Freeze Ammo Mod is available. It drops as a consumable item and is primarily found within Holiday Presents. These presents are obtained in several ways:
- Enemy Kills: They occasionally drop from slain enemies.
- Naughty or Nice Power-up: The stocking-shaped power-up yields either multiple Holiday Presents (Nice) or spawns numerous vermin enemies (Naughty).
- S.A.M. Machine: The S.A.M. Machine spawns several Holiday Presents upon its appearance.
Equipment and Support in Jingle Hells
The absence of the Workbench means no Salvage-based crafting. However, equipment and Support items can still be found:
- Enemy Kills: Killing enemies, especially Special and Elite enemies, can drop equipment and Support items.
- Holiday Presents: These can contain equipment.
- S.A.M. Trials: These trials offer a chance at equipment and Support rewards.
- Bank Vault Deposit Boxes: These boxes may contain equipment and Support.
