Vampire Survivors has just released a thrilling free DLC titled Emerald Diorama, which introduces a unique crossover with Square Enix's beloved JRPG series, SaGa. This marks the game's most substantial update to date, infusing it with JRPG elements for an enhanced gaming experience.

Emerald Diorama Brings JRPG Vibes to Vampire Survivors

The Emerald Diorama DLC introduces a new stage that functions as a mini world map, complete with world-hopping vibes reminiscent of classic JRPGs. Players can explore this new environment and encounter over a dozen new characters, ranging from puppeteers to singers of cursed songs. Additionally, the DLC boasts over 16 new weapons and introduces a novel Glimmer system, allowing players to randomly acquire new skills during their runs. The update also enriches the auditory experience with nine new music tracks.

To unlock the Emerald Diorama, players need to visit Moongolow and engage with a new merchant. Purchasing the Emerald Disk for 50,000 gold will grant access to the content, which can then be unlocked progressively. The DLC also introduces character parties, enabling players to form their own mini squads for a more collaborative gameplay experience.

Furthermore, the DLC includes two new Adventures—mini-campaigns with six chapters each. "To End an Ice Age" is designed for the base game, while "Tides of the Foscari" expands the content within the new DLC, offering players more story-driven challenges.

Alongside the DLC, There’s Another Free Update

In addition to the Emerald Diorama, the base game of Vampire Survivors has received another free update called The Coop. As the name suggests, this update centers around chickens, introducing a new character named Gazebo, along with a new weapon and a relic that enhances game speed. Players can also earn various achievements and unlock Darkana. Collecting 500 lifetime floor chickens unlocks the full potential of The Coop update.

A helpful tip for players engaging with The Coop: refrain from killing any enemies for the first minute of gameplay to unlock the Gaze of Gaea. Evolving it with Parm Aegis will subsequently unlock Gazebo.

Vampire Survivors, including the free DLC Emerald Diorama and the free update The Coop, is available for download on the Google Play Store. The game now supports cross-platform saving, allowing players to continue their progress across PC, Xbox, Android, and iOS devices.
