Unlock All BlazBlue Entropy Effect Characters: Guide

Unlocking characters in *BlazBlue Entropy Effect* is a unique process that involves collecting items called Prototype Analyzers. These are essential for unlocking every new character in the game, except for the DLC characters, which require payment. Our comprehensive *BlazBlue Entropy Effect* character unlock guide not only details how to obtain Prototype Analyzers but also provides a complete list of every playable character.

BlazBlue Entropy Effect: How To Unlock Characters

The player character and janitor look into an abyss in BlazBlue Entropy Effect

You'll receive your first Prototype Analyzer right after completing the tutorial, which also gives you a nudge on how to utilize it. To proceed, exit the Acer Program room through the passage on your right, and you'll find yourself in a room with a glowing platform. Interact with this platform to access the character selection menu and choose the character you wish to unlock.

For additional characters, you'll need more Prototype Analyzers. Simply return to the same room and interact with the platform again to unlock another character. Note that DLC characters, such as Rachel and Hazama as of March 2025, are an exception. These are automatically unlocked upon purchasing and installing their respective character packs.

BlazBlue Entropy Effect: How To Get More Prototype Analyzers

*Entropy Effect* offers multiple methods for acquiring additional Prototype Analyzers, though they all require patience and dedication.

Progress the Story

As you advance through *BlazBlue Entropy Effect*'s storyline and complete training missions, you'll unlock gray skills. Reaching certain milestones will reward you with a Prototype Analyzer:

  • Unlocking 10 gray skills
  • Unlocking 20 gray skills
  • Unlocking 40 gray skills

Additionally, you'll receive one automatically after completing a significant event later in the story. However, unlocking green skills through Potential does not yield Prototype Analyzers. As it stands, unless developer 91Act introduces more skills or alternative methods via story quests, you can only obtain three Prototype Analyzers this way.

Complete Mind Challenges and Spend AP

Another avenue for obtaining Prototype Analyzers involves the Mind Challenge mode. Here, you can earn Action Points (AP), which you can then exchange with the janitor for a Prototype Analyzer. Keep in mind that this is not a frequent opportunity, as each Prototype Analyzer costs a hefty 5,000 AP.

BlazBlue Entropy Effect: All Characters

As of March 2025, *BlazBlue Entropy Effect* features a roster of 12 characters, with 10 available in the base game and two additional characters offered as paid DLC. Excluding the DLC packs, all other characters are unlocked using Prototype Analyzers.

Ragna the Bloodedge

Ragna from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Ragna is a melee fighter with a unique twist. As a close-range attacker, he powers up as his HP depletes. His special ability allows him to sacrifice health to buff himself, then regain some of it by siphoning it from his opponents.

Jin Kisaragi

Jin from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Jin is a melee specialist known for his elaborate swordplay and ice-based abilities. He can freeze enemies and, with well-timed combos, enhance his strength and confuse foes with bursts of super speed.

Noel Vermillion

Noel from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Unlike Jin and Ragna, Noel excels in ranged combat. She can unleash a barrage of missiles in any direction and has an ability that reduces her skill cooldown timers. Additionally, Noel can utilize Over-Exhaust to continue casting skills even when her MP is depleted.

Taokaka

Taokaka from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Taokaka may struggle against heavily armored foes, but her versatility in builds compensates for this. Her Spinny Spinny attack can hit enemies multiple times and accumulate status effects, making almost any build viable for her.

Hakumen

Hakumen from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Hakumen embodies the tank archetype, with slow yet powerful attacks and a bulky frame ideal for enduring enemy attacks. He can counter incoming attacks at a reduced MP cost after successful blocks and can be equipped with a midair attack to deal with any adversary.

Lambda-11

Lamda-11 from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Lambda-11 excels in both close and long-range combat. Her powerful skills continue to damage enemies even when she's not directly engaging them, making her a versatile choice for any combat scenario.

Kokonoe

Kokonoe from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Kokonoe is often considered one of the weaker characters in *Entropy Effect*, requiring meticulous management of lasers and crowd control effects. However, with the right damage-over-time build, she can still be effective.

Hibiki Kohaku

Hibiki from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Hibiki excels at evasion and crowd control, keeping enemy groups at bay. While not the strongest in terms of raw power, his ability to avoid damage makes him a formidable choice.

Es

Es from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Es is exceptionally powerful even without unlocking potentials. She can counter after dodging, evade effectively, execute mid-air combos, and control crowds, making her a well-rounded character.

Mai Nastume

Mai from BlazBlue Entropy effect

Mai has a high skill ceiling and can be challenging to master until her combos are understood. While her Heavy Attack seems the main attraction, she's designed for chaining combos to maximize damage and mobility.

Rachel Alucard

Rachel from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Rachel is incredibly overpowered, boasting speed and the ability to reset her dodge moves, making her hard to hit. Her abilities cover large areas, and one of her moves is nearly impossible for enemies to evade, stunning them in the process.

Hazama

Hazama from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Hazama demands a strategic approach due to his complex, input-heavy moves. While he has a steep learning curve, mastering his skills makes him one of the game's strongest characters.

This covers all the characters in *BlazBlue Entropy Effect* and how to unlock them. *BlazBlue Entropy Effect is available now on PC.*
