UniqKiller: A Customizable Top-Down Shooter Heading to Mobile and PC
Making waves at Gamescom Latam, UniqKiller, a top-down shooter from Sao Paulo-based HypeJoe Games, is generating significant buzz. The game, showcased in a vibrant yellow booth, attracted considerable attention, with attendees frequently seen testing the demo and sporting HypeJoe's distinctive yellow tote bags.
HypeJoe aims to stand out in the crowded shooter market with its unique isometric perspective and, more importantly, a heavy emphasis on character customization. In a 2024 gaming landscape valuing individuality, UniqKiller lets players craft their own unique "Uniq," unlocking further customization options – including skills and combat styles – as they progress.
Beyond individual expression, UniqKiller offers a full multiplayer experience, including Clans, Clan Wars, special events, and missions. The developers are committed to fair matchmaking, ensuring players face opponents of similar skill levels.
