This beginner's guide to Build Defense on Roblox will help you survive the onslaught of monsters, tornadoes, bombs, and aliens. While superficially similar to Minecraft, the gameplay is closer to early Fortnite. The key is survival, not just base defense.

Survival is Key: The objective isn't to protect your plot, but to survive each wave of attacks. You earn "Wins" for surviving, which are crucial for progression. You can even survive by running until the danger passes!

Death is Normal: Don't worry about dying; it happens frequently. The penalties are minimal: you respawn quickly, lose your items (which you can repurchase), and fail the current wave. You lose only a few minutes.

Build High, Not Wide: Simple perimeter walls are ineffective. Build tall towers with stairs. Enemies struggle to climb, and you can easily defend from above with turrets.

Explore Beyond Your Base: The island offers much more than your plot. Visit neighbors, sell ores, and complete quests (some available immediately, others requiring Wins). Quests unlock new building components.

Utilize the Shop: The in-game shop offers many items purchasable with earned currency. Accumulate Wins before shopping. Remember to join the Swiftplay Roblox group and like/favorite/follow the game for a free gift!

Progress to New Areas: Once you reach 190 Wins, advance to the next area for new challenges, quests, and building opportunities.
