Last week, the Nintendo Switch 2 pre-order date, set for April 9, was canceled in the U.S. after tariffs caused market turmoil. Nintendo Canada also delayed pre-orders.

Nintendo fans and analysts worry the Switch 2 and its games may see further price hikes, amplifying backlash over pricing since the console’s reveal.
