Disney Speedstorm is gearing up for an exhilarating 12th season, launching on March 6th, and this time, it's diving into the visually stunning world of Tron: Legacy. Fans of the iconic sequel are in for a treat as beloved characters like Quorra, Sam Flynn, Rinzler, and Zuse make their thrilling debut as playable racers.

While Disney is renowned for its animated masterpieces and a mixed bag of live-action films, it's also celebrated for pioneering the use of digital effects with the original 1982 film, Tron. The latest season of Disney Speedstorm, titled "On the Grid," pays homage to this landmark franchise, bringing the neon-soaked aesthetics and weaponry of Tron: Legacy to the racing scene.

Players can expect to see these characters wielding distinctive, iconic identity disks and other futuristic weapons. However, despite the thematic alignment, the racers will not be riding on the legendary lightcycles but instead will be driving stylish karts. To complement the racers, new Crew Members such as Kevin Flynn, ISO, and Jarvis will join the fray, along with an all-new track that promises to immerse players in the world of Tron.

No Lightcycles?While the absence of lightcycles might be a letdown for some, Disney Speedstorm's 12th season compensates with a rich array of new content. Each of the four new racers comes equipped with unique weaponry and ultimates, ensuring dynamic and engaging races.
