TouchArcade Rating: Following the mobile release of Coromon, the popular monster-collecting game from TRAGsoft, a roguelite spin-off is on the horizon. Coromon: Rogue Planet (Free), slated for release next year, will be available on Steam, Switch, iOS, and Android. This new title aims to seamlessly integrate the turn-based combat of its predecessor with roguelite mechanics, creating a highly replayable monster-catching experience. The Steam page boasts features including 10 dynamically generated biomes, 7 unique playable characters, and over 130 monsters. Check out the official announcement trailer below:

The original Coromon is a free-to-play mobile title. It will be interesting to see how Coromon: Rogue Planet performs on mobile, and whether its launch coincides with the Steam and Switch releases. Based on the Steam screenshots, it seems perfectly suited for short bursts of play. In the meantime, the original Coromon is available for free on iOS here.
