Top Heroes in Marvel Rivals

Any hero can secure a victory with strong team synergy, but some excel more easily than others.

This tier list prioritizes heroes based on their effectiveness and ease of climbing ranks. Top-tier heroes shine in nearly any context, while lower-tier ones demand more skill to succeed.

S-tier Heroes

Hela dominates as a long-range duelist with devastating damage and area-of-effect skills. Two precise headshots can eliminate most foes, making her a game-changer when positioned strategically.

Psylocke, though slightly trickier to master, is equally lethal. Her invisibility lets her slip behind enemies for surprise attacks, and her ultimate delivers invulnerability and repositionable area damage.

Mantis and Luna Snow stand out as top supports, offering robust healing and synergy with mobile damage dealers like Spider-Man and Black Panther. Their ultimates make allies nearly unkillable and include crowd control to thwart enemies.

Dr. Strange leads as the premier defender, with a shield that counters enemy ultimates and portals that unlock strategic possibilities.

A-tier Heroes

Winter Soldier’s ultimate unleashes devastating area damage, reusable if it kills an enemy, creating a cascade of destruction. However, he’s vulnerable while it recharges.

Hawkeye excels in ranged combat, capable of one-shotting squishy heroes, but his vulnerability to melee fighters and need for precise aim keep him below Hela.

Cloak & Dagger offer a versatile mix of support and damage-dealing capabilities, making them a dynamic duo on the battlefield.

Adam Warlock shines with instant healing and teammate resurrection, but his team-wide healing triggers lengthy cooldowns.

Magneto, Thor, and The Punisher deliver high impact but require tight team coordination to avoid becoming liabilities.

Moon Knight’s bouncing attacks hit enemies and his ankhs, but vigilant opponents can neutralize him by destroying his ankhs.

Venom, the symbiote tank, smashes through enemies and scales structures with ease. His well-timed armor ability allows him to either press the attack or retreat safely.

Spider-Man’s web-slinging mobility and combo attacks nearly eliminate any duelist or support, but his fragility and need to chase enemies prevent him from S-tier status.

B-tier Heroes

Groot appeals to Fortnite fans with his ability to create walls that damage enemies or boost his health, doubling as barriers or bridges.

Supports Jeff the Land Shark and Rocket Raccoon can perch on Groot to mitigate damage, though their healing is less potent than top-tier supports.

Captain America and Hulk are the weakest tanks. Hulk’s large hitbox and useless Banner form make him an easy kill, while Captain America’s shield pales compared to Dr. Strange’s and requires Thor to deal significant damage.

Namor relies on his summons, which are quickly dispatched, leaving him with only his trident throw for impact.

D-tier Heroes

Black Widow struggles as a sniper in this fast-paced game, with headshots lacking the power to kill and weak close-range defenses.

Wolverine often falls before reaching foes, needing a major overhaul to compete.
