RuneScape has just released a Dev’s Diary for April, unveiling all the details on the latest update, Return to the Desert: Pharaoh’s Folly. This exciting new quest is now live and will run until April 28th. Players will embark on a thrilling adventure to survive the Shifting Tombs and alter the fate of the desert alongside Leela and Ozan.

The Kharidian desert is heating up as Menaphos descends into chaos. Osman's shocking betrayal has left the city on the brink of collapse, with its people divided and the ominous presence of Amascut lurking in the shadows. Surviving the Shifting Tombs is merely the start of the perils you'll face.

But fear not, you won't be alone. Leela is back in action, and you'll be joined by new allies, including some adorable pets. Together, you'll delve into the ancient secrets of Menaphos and uncover the true intentions behind Osman’s actions.

Heading Back into the Heat Again

Completing Pharaoh’s Folly comes with some rewarding perks. Players can earn Thieving and Agility XP, the prestigious title The Rabble-Rouser, and a new item, Leela’s Favour bracelet. This bracelet allows teleportation across all districts of Menaphos, the Sophanem slayer dungeon, the shifting tombs, and all active soul obelisks.

The Return to the Desert: Pharaoh’s Folly quest is not for the faint-hearted. To embark on this adventure, you'll need a Slayer level of 87, completion of the Beneath Scabaras’ Sands quest, and several achievements from the Do No Evil quest within Phite Club.

Additionally, you must have constructed the necessary structures from the Fort Forinthry storyline. Once these criteria are met, you can meet Leela outside the gates of Menaphos and begin your mission to save the city from the brink.
