In Sunset Hills, you step into the shoes of Nico Grant, a novelist and former soldier. Set in the year 794, Nico embarks on a train journey to reunite with his fellow veterans. It's been seven years since the war concluded, and a deep-seated urge compels him to reconnect with Ferruccio, Doug, and Roy.

The game delicately unravels Nico's emotions and memories. As a child, Nico was introverted, more captivated by books and his own imagination than social interactions. The war, however, thrust him into a challenging environment where his small stature and unique nature made him a target for bullying. Yet, Nico found solace in writing. His small notebook, initially a source of ridicule, eventually fostered deep bonds with his squadmates, transforming teasing into lasting friendships.

As an adult and a published author, Nico's travels now take him across various cities and countries by train. Each stop in the game not only progresses his journey but also presents players with puzzles to solve.
