The game's mixed reviews and subsequent divisive post-launch content led to an initial round of layoffs affecting half of the QA team in September.

This latest round of job cuts, reported by Eurogamer, extends to Rocksteady's programming and art departments, occurring just as 2024 concluded. Several anonymous employees confirmed their dismissals, highlighting the impact on the studio's workforce. Warner Bros. has yet to publicly address these recent layoffs, mirroring their silence following the September cuts.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League's underperformance significantly impacted both Rocksteady and parent company WB Games. Warner Bros. acknowledged the game's failure to meet sales expectations in February.
