What's New in Season 4?
This season introduces a snowy tundra habitat teeming with challenging creatures. New monsters making their debut include Lagombi, Volvidon, Somnacanth, and the fearsome Tigrex. Returning favorites like Barioth, Wulg, and Cortos also appear. Tigrex will be a formidable opponent in Hunt-a-thons and may even surprise you in the field. Unlock these powerful monsters by completing urgent quests throughout Season 4's story chapters. Access to the tundra is granted after finishing the prologue.
A New Weapon: The Switch Axe
Season 4 introduces the versatile Switch Axe. This two-in-one weapon boasts powerful long-range strikes in Axe Mode, swiftly transitioning to a devastating Sword Mode for intense close-quarters combat. Unlock the Switch Gauge by completing Chapter 2 of the pre-season story.
Customizable Palico Companions
For the first time, you can now customize your own Palico companion! Adjust their fur color, facial features, and give them a unique name. And if you're an AR enthusiast, take your personalized Palico into the real world for some memorable photos.
Friend Cheering: A Helping Hand
Season 4 introduces Friend Cheering, adding a collaborative element to your hunts. Send cheers to your friends to provide them with a temporary health boost for the day (with a daily limit).
