After a small leak last week, EA has officially confirmed the title of its next Star Wars game: Star Wars: Zero Company. The game is being developed by the newly-formed strategy game studio Bit Reactor, with support from Lucasfilm Games and Respawn.

Details about Star Wars: Zero Company remain sparse, but it's been revealed as a "single-player turn-based tactics game". Fans won't have to wait long for more information, as EA has promised a first look at the game during Star Wars Celebration in Japan on April 19.

Bit Reactor, established in 2022, is comprised of industry veterans from renowned titles such as XCOM, Civilization, Gears of War, and Elder Scrolls Online. While it was known that they were collaborating with Respawn on a Star Wars project, this marks the first time we've received concrete details about Zero Company.

The extent of Respawn's involvement in the project remains somewhat unclear. The studio has faced significant challenges recently, including the cancellation of its own Star Wars FPS a year ago, mass layoffs at EA, and the termination of another multiplayer FPS project just last month.
