GSC Gameworld, the developers behind S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, have shared their latest roadmap, committing to regular updates every 3 months. On April 14, STALKER’s official X (formerly Twitter) account unveiled the roadmap for Q2 2025.

The developers will provide detailed quarterly updates, ensuring players receive the latest information on what to expect. Alongside these updates, patch notes will be released to confirm the implementation of planned features in the game.

Beta Mod SDK Kit, A-Life Updates, and More

GSC Gameworld has outlined several key updates, with a focus on the Beta Mod SDK Kit and enhancements to the A-Life system. A closed beta for mod makers will precede the official release of the ModKit, facilitating testing and feedback. Integration with Mod.io and Steam Workshop is also on the agenda.

The A-Life System, crucial for NPC AI and simulation, will see further improvements. Following a substantial 110 GB Christmas patch last year, the developers are set to introduce "persistent A-Life improvements" and enhance human combat tactics with better cover and flanking strategies, along with limited grenade use.
