Sizzlipede Debuts in Pokémon Go's Bug Out Event Return
Get ready for the return of the Bug Out event in Pokémon Go! This exciting event, running from March 26th to 30th, features the debut of Sizzlipede and its evolution, Centiskorch, alongside a surge of Bug-type Pokémon. Prepare for a flurry of wild encounters, raids, bonuses, and new challenges.
Lure Modules will be key during the Bug Out event. Not only will they attract Sizzlipede, but they'll also significantly increase the number of Pokémon appearing at PokéStops when enough Pokémon are caught using a single module. Trainers will also enjoy 2x XP and extra Candy for Nice Throws or better, with increased Candy XL chances for those level 31 and above. Shiny hunters, rejoice! Your chances of encountering Shiny Wurmple and Shiny Venipede are boosted.
Expect a swarm of Bug-type Pokémon in the wild, including Caterpie, Weedle, Wurmple, Nincada, Venipede, Dwebble, Joltik, Grubbin, Dewpider, Nymble, and even the occasional Cutiefly.
One-star raids will feature Sizzlipede alongside Scyther and Nincada, while Beedrill, Scizor, and Kleavor dominate three-star raids. Complete event-themed Field Research tasks for rewards like Mega Energy, Scatterbug Candy, and encounters with event Pokémon.
A free Timed Research offers encounters with Shedinja, Sizzlipede, Kleavor, and more, plus a Lure Module. For even more rewards, a paid Timed Research ($2 or local equivalent) includes encounters with Heracross, Sizzlipede, and Kleavor, along with two Premium Battle Passes and an extra Lure Module. New Collection Challenges await, rewarding Stardust, XP, and Pokémon encounters. PokéStop Showcases will highlight event-themed Pokémon.
