Directed by Jalmari Helander, the man behind the intense "Big Game" and the recently acclaimed "Sisu," this new installment titled "John Rambo" is being launched at the prestigious Cannes market by Millennium Media. Known for producing high-octane franchises such as "The Expendables" and "Has Fallen," Millennium Media previously collaborated on the earlier "Rambo" films.

Although details remain scarce, "John Rambo" is expected to delve into the character's origins, taking place during the Vietnam War and serving as a prequel to the iconic "First Blood" released in 1982.
