He highlighted the game's enduring appeal and its impact on multiple generations. The anniversary celebrations are a heartfelt "thank you" to the entire Simmer community.

The Return of Classic Sims

The biggest news? The original The Sims and The Sims 2, including all their DLC, are back! Available now on Steam and the EA store, either as a bundle or individually, these classics are finally accessible to a new generation of players. This marks a significant event, as these titles had been unavailable for purchase for almost a decade. EA has remastered them for modern systems, addressing a long-standing request from the Simmer community.

In-Game Events and Updates

The Sims 4's "Blast From The Past" event introduces iconic items from earlier games, including retro furniture, clothing, and décor, rolled out over four weeks. Expect fun additions like neon inflatable chairs, a three-tiered cake, and a light-up dance floor.

The Sims FreePlay also joins the celebration with a birthday update featuring new Live Events ("The One with the Coffee Shop" and "Reality Island"), a velour tracksuit, 25 days of daily gifts, and a Social Town museum showcasing the Sims' history.
