Sims 1 & 2 Returning to PCs?
The Sims franchise is marking its 25th anniversary with a bang, and while Electronic Arts has unveiled its celebratory plans, exciting surprises may still be in store.
A recent Sims teaser hinted at the series' first two installments, sparking fan speculation about a potential re-release. While unconfirmed, Kotaku sources suggest a digital PC release of The Sims 1 and 2, complete with all original expansion packs, could be announced by the end of the week from EA and Maxis Games.
The possibility of a console release, and its timing, remains uncertain. However, given the potential for nostalgic profits, a console port seems highly probable.
The original Sims 1 and 2 are now difficult to legally access. Their return would undoubtedly thrill long-time fans.
