Konami unveiled a fresh trailer and intriguing details about the game's narrative, centering around Shimizu Hinkao, an ordinary teenager whose life takes a terrifying turn as her town becomes enveloped in fog and transforms into a nightmarish landscape. As Shimizu, players will navigate a town she no longer recognizes, solving puzzles, battling eerie foes, and striving to survive to confront the ultimate decision awaiting her.

This new installment offers an original story that welcomes newcomers while embedding Easter Eggs for long-time fans. The game is set in the fictional Japanese town of Ebisugaoka, inspired by the real location of Kanayama, Gero, in the Gifu Prefecture. The creative team behind Silent Hill f includes creature and character designer kera, who expressed excitement about contributing to the series that has significantly influenced his work, particularly Silent Hill 2.
