Housemarque's new game, Saros, made its debut at the State of Play in February 2025. Slated for release on both the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro in 2026, Saros promises to build on the adrenaline-pumping gameplay of Housemarque's previous third-person action game, Returnal. The game will introduce players to a new protagonist, Arjun Devraj, brought to life by the talented Hollywood actor Rahul Kohli.
Come Back Stronger
According to Housemarque's creative director Gregory Louden, Saros is designed to not only stand on its own but to also evolve the narrative and mechanics established in Returnal. While Returnal offered an ever-changing roguelike experience across shifting biomes, Saros will introduce permanent and evolving loadouts, including weapons and suits, to empower players to "Come Back Stronger." This feature aims to help players overcome any challenges they encounter.
