Samurai Pizza Cats Game Revival Announced
Developer Blast Zero and publisher Red Dunes Games are commemorating the 35th anniversary of the cult classic anime Samurai Pizza Cats with the reveal of a new video game adaptation titled Samurai Pizza Cats: Blast From the Past. The action-packed homage to the beloved 90s cartoon is currently in development for all major gaming platforms.
The game's announcement trailer features reprised roles from the original English voice cast, including Rick Jones as Cerviche, Sonja Ball as Polly Esther, Terrence Scammell voicing Guido Anchovy and narrating duties, and Dean Hagopian returning as Seymour "The Big" Cheese. Described as a 2D action-RPG (with gameplay snippets visible in the trailer above), the title lets players dynamically switch between the feline heroes to leverage their unique combat skills and puzzle-solving abilities throughout Little Tokyo.
