Slothwerks, the innovative indie developer behind the beloved Meteorfall series, has just unveiled their latest card battler, Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble. Pre-registration is now open on Android, marking the third installment following the success of Meteorfall (2017) and Meteorfall: Krumit’s Tale (2019). The game is slated for release next month, promising another engaging adventure within its quirky universe.

What’s the Setting?

Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble is a thrilling roguelike deckbuilder where matches are quick and victory comes from bending the rules rather than adhering to them. Players will be throwing down cards to dazzle a bloodthirsty audience. You'll lead a squad of three heroes, selected from a pool of eight, each bringing their unique deck to the fray.

With over 200 cards at your disposal, you can customize your deck on-the-fly with layered upgrades. The introduction of Wild Cards adds a twist, allowing you to break conventional rules and pull off impressive feats during battles to earn powerful buffs.

In between the action-packed battles, you'll find yourself in Bramble Town, facing crucial decisions. Should you enhance your deck, train your team, or simply explore the town's eccentricities? Your choices here will shape your journey.

Pre-Registration for Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble Is Now Live

Originally announced as Bramble Royale, the game stirred some confusion with its title, leading many to believe it was a battle royale. To clear up the confusion, the developers rebranded it to Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble a few weeks ago. This strategic rebranding leverages the established Meteorfall brand, ensuring fans immediately recognize it as part of the same whimsical world.
