What's on the Horizon?

A highly anticipated Group Ironman mode arrives later this year, allowing up to five players to collaborate without external assistance. Autumn brings "The Gate of Elidinis," a challenging new skilling boss encounter within the Sanctum of Rebirth, tied to a major story quest.

The roadmap emphasizes a significant story quest expansion. A winter update revisits classic storylines, culminating in a Desert-based confrontation with Amascut, the Devourer, in a new end-game boss fight.

Skilling enthusiasts can anticipate 110 skill updates. This year features Woodcutting & Fletching enhancements, including a new skill tree and weaponry, with RuneCrafting and Crafting 110 updates slated for 2025.

Seasonal festivities include the debut of "Harvest Hollow" later this year, boasting a new quest, spooky rewards, and themed activities. The beloved "Christmas Village" returns at year's end with fresh quests, festive events, and abundant holiday rewards.

RuneScape's Future Looks Bright

Beyond this, a substantial new area expansion is planned for late 2025. Numerous player-requested features are also in development, including new combat achievements, a fourth Necromancy conjure ability, and a fresh Slayer monster.
