Roland-Garros eSeries 2025 Features a New eSports Team Format in Tennis Clash
The Roland-Garros eSeries returns in 2025, promising even more intense competition than last year's thrilling tournament. Players worldwide will once again grace the virtual clay courts of Tennis Clash, but this year brings exciting changes. A new team-based format takes center stage, featuring legendary tennis captains and a lucrative €5,000 prize pool.
Returning sponsors Renault and Mastercard add further prestige. Players can personalize their avatars with official Roland-Garros 2025 attire and utilize the exclusive Renault 5 Roland-Garros string.
Tournament Timeline:
The eSeries kicks off in March with open qualifiers, the crucial first step for aspiring finalists. Three qualifying rounds will take place from March 6-11, March 20-25, and April 3-8. The top female players from the initial two qualifiers automatically advance, joining the overall winners. The grand finale unfolds on May 24th at the Roland-Garros Tenniseum Auditorium, with live spectators and a Twitch stream for global viewing.
New for 2025:
This year's innovative team-based format sets it apart from previous editions. Finalists will compete as part of teams, each guided by a prominent French tennis figure. Gilles Simon, former ATP world No. 6 and Davis Cup champion, is confirmed as one captain, having previously participated as a commentator and competitor. His opposing captain remains a secret, but organizers hint at a Grand Slam champion.
The Competition Heats Up:
The winning team from the initial phase enjoys a superior position in the double-elimination bracket, starting on the winner's side, while the losing team begins in the loser's bracket.
Alessandro ΔLEX Bianco, the reigning champion, returns to defend his title alongside the two Grand Tour finalists. Given last year's impressive 548,000 participants from 215 territories, this year's tournament promises even fiercer competition.
To celebrate Women's Day, Tennis Clash is offering a trip to Paris for top female and overall players. Download the game from the Google Play Store and prepare for the Roland-Garros eSeries 2025—a tournament brimming with excitement and opportunity.
