The midseason update for *Fortnite* Chapter 6, Season 2 introduced the Outlaw Midas skin and the Outlaw Keycard challenge tab. This tab is somewhat mysterious, only indicating that completing quests will enhance the keycard's rarity and unlock new areas and services in Battle Royale. This has left players puzzled, especially since the next set of Story Quests won't be available until this task is completed.
The process to obtain The Outlaw Keycard is straightforward yet requires community effort. Players must enter Battle Royale games and target Fletcher Kane's Vaults and Cases, similar to the cooperative effort needed to defeat the Doctor Doom boss in previous seasons. However, unlike the swift takedown of Doctor Doom, this Community Quest seems more demanding.
An early attempt by The Escapist to rob a Vault right after landing showed no progress on the challenge's completion bar, indicating that individual efforts won't suffice. Players must wait for the community to collectively rob enough Vaults and Cases to move forward.
Adding to the challenge, the next batch of *Fortnite* Outlaw Quests won't be released until March 25th, suggesting a two-week window for the community to complete the task. This extended period implies that *Fortnite* developers anticipate it might take up to a week for the community to achieve the goal. While this might be frustrating for some, the Golden Gunslinger Quests offer plenty of content to explore in the meantime.
