Back in January, Bluepoch Games thrilled fans by announcing an upcoming collaboration, and now they've unveiled more exciting details about the Reverse: 1999 x Assassin’s Creed crossover. This eagerly anticipated event will introduce Ezio Auditore da Firenze from Assassin’s Creed as a playable character, bringing a legendary figure into the time-traveling RPG.

In partnership with Ubisoft, the crossover will celebrate two beloved entries in the Assassin’s Creed series: Assassin’s Creed II and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. A teaser released in January set the stage, showing Vertin navigating a rainy street with the iconic Assassin’s Creed logo glowing in the distance.

Get Ready to Welcome Ezio from Assassin’s Creed into Reverse: 1999!

The full details of the crossover have been revealed, and it's set to launch on Android, iOS, and PC in August 2025. Beyond the inclusion of Ezio, the Reverse: 1999 x Assassin’s Creed collaboration promises a wealth of new content.

The event is divided into two phases, each featuring unique Assassin’s Creed-themed stories and events. Phase I transports players to Renaissance Florence, where Vertin and her team will navigate the 15th-century Italian landscape, deciphering cryptic clues along the way.

Phase II shifts the setting to ancient Greece, immersing players in the world of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Fans of the game will recognize familiar events as Vertin and her crew become entangled in the historical narrative.

It’s a Special Crossover

This collaboration marks a significant milestone for Reverse: 1999, as it will be the first time all servers worldwide are synchronized, ensuring that everyone can access the event content simultaneously.

Reverse: 1999 is a unique time-traveling RPG that blends modern and retro aesthetics. Players assume the role of Vertin, the Timekeeper, who is immune to a mysterious phenomenon called The Storm. After these storms strike, entire eras vanish, prompting Vertin and her partner Sonetto to journey through time, rescuing other arcanists affected by these temporal shifts.
