Pokémon GO Tour: Unova and City Safari Events Announced!
Get ready, Pokémon GO trainers! Two exciting events are on the horizon: Pokémon GO Tour: Unova and Pokémon GO City Safari.
Pokémon GO Tour: Unova (February 21-23, 2025)
This in-person event will take place in Los Angeles (Rose Bowl Stadium) and New Taipei City (Metropolitan Park). Inspired by Pokémon Black, White, Black 2, and White 2, the event features themed habitats (Winter Caverns, Spring Soiree, Summer Vacations, Autumn Masquerade) brimming with Unova Pokémon.
Trainers can hunt for shiny Deerling variants, depending on the habitat and time of day. Shiny Meloetta awaits via Masterwork Research, and shiny Sigilyph, Bouffalant, and others are available through hatching. Lucky trainers might even find shiny Pikachu with unique hats via Field Research!
Legendary Pokémon Reshiram and Zekrom are Five-Star Raid bosses, Druddigon is in Three-Star Raids, and Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott appear in One-Star Raids—all with increased shiny rates.
Tickets are on sale now at a discounted price: $25 USD (Los Angeles) and $630 NT (New Taipei). Add-ons provide extra bonuses, such as 5,000 XP after completing a raid. The event runs from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time (PST and GMT+8 respectively). Booths and team lounges will offer merchandise and relaxation areas.
A global event, Pokémon GO Tour: Unova - Global, will run March 1-2, offering free access to Unova region content for all trainers.
Pokémon GO City Safari (December 7-8, 2024)
This citywide event will be held in Hong Kong and São Paulo, Brazil (10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time). Join Professor Willow and Eevee to solve a Pokémon mystery!
Event highlights include a special explorer hat-wearing Eevee (evolving it retains the hat!), the Eevee Explorers Expedition (earn a second hat-wearing Eevee!), and special Pokémon appearances in the wild (Galarian Slowpoke, Unown P, Clamperl, etc.) and eggs (Oricorio, Swablu, Skiddo, etc.). Location-specific Pokémon will also appear. Maps will be provided, and Pikachu or Eevee visors will be distributed (while supplies last).
Tickets are available for R$45 (São Paulo) and $10 USD (Hong Kong). Add-ons offer extra items and increased shiny encounter chances. Don't miss out!
